Another Pathway
Last February I wrote here about The Mythic Pull Of Pathways, and included photos of roads, streets, forest paths, and so forth, that have captured my attention.
I recently found another! This pathway is in the Tres Rios Wetlands in Phoenix, Arizona. Who would have thought it? Wetlands in the desert! And this beautiful pathway within it.

I have been writing and publishing photos about Tres Rios at another blog. If it interests you, have a look at these:

That *is* an enticing pathway, Dick! What lay beyond? Also very curious to know what wetlands in Phoenix look like!
Kathryn — there are more photos taken at Tres Rios in the blog posts listed at the end of this post, and yet more photos to be found at Tres Rios Photos.
Enjoy!
I became lost on the path you put out here Dick. The Feb post was great and I also like the pic you’ve taken here. I had been looking into some research on choice recently and it makes me wonder if the attraction of a path is that it simplifies the choice of our next steps. (Whether on or off the path as we move.) Love it when you make me think.

Dick,
Thanks for this posting and for reminding us of the earlier posting on pathways. Great pics!
Like you, I am also a seeker. And have always been drawn to paths, roads, trails, and such. One of my favorite things to do as a child, and then later when my sons were small, was to follow a path in the woods to see what could be found.
I believe this trait was instilled in me by my dear mother, may she rest in peace, who loved to take “mystery rides” in the car.

Thanks Terry — life is a “mystery ride” too, isn’t it?
